  I booked this hotel as my son was getting married and I needed a convenient base for the family. It worked out very well and the hotel staff were extremely helpful, friendly, pleasant and patient with us.   The location was lovely - looking out of my room to the golf course was very peaceful. The drinks were extremely reasonable - especially the house wine which was of a good quality at a great price. Even with the minor niggles in the other section , it was a very enjoyable overnight stay and I would definitely use it again. A big thanks to the staf... mitä ihmiset sanovat » f who were all very nice and very helpful. - The location is great set in a country landscape which is fabulous, there is the golf course immediately outside the Tavern and a pitch and putt for the less adventurous beginner and a squash court a very good sports location. The room was very clean and a good size. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was exceptional.

  What a lovely hotel Archways Lodge is - friendly staff, spot on cleanliness, the most comfy bed I have ever slept in, kitchenette facilites a bonus! I adored the decoration and the personal touches. I have never stayed in a hotel and found funny little figurines and air freshner in the bathroom! It was almost home from home which tempts me to say ... mitä ihmiset sanovat » that I would have appreciated a lounge area to experience and enjoy even more this tastefully furbished building. - Very warm welcome by the two members of staff - one of them went the extra mile and printed a map and directions to a wedding venue in the middle of nowhere! Room was ready by noon which allowed us to change for wedding. Whilst no restaurant there was a very useful "kitchen in a cupboard" with some nice touches - coffee, orange juice, crisps, microwave, wine glasses etc. Plenty of parking. The "chambermaid" was a hoot!

  Value for money, I booked it late on the day because of a client location and it proved to be superb, I arrived late at night went straight in ordered a meal and was set for the night.
