  The staff were really friendly and helpful. The location was beautiful. The bar was cosy and the food good and big portions! The room was warm and comfortable. - I couldn't fault anything & the staff were so friendly and welcoming. The food they serve was excellent and I would definitely stay there again.

  My friend and I stayed there for 3 nights and were treated like family. Advice about places to go was plentiful and maps and brochures appeared out of nowhere.....we would definitely recommend staying here...it's a home from home. The full breakfast is huge and enough to feed 3 hungry people - I put 2 pounds on in 3 days!!!   We found the hotel to be lovely and comfortable and very tastefully decorated and had a very warm welcome on arrival. The breakfast was excellent and we were made to feel very welcome!   From entering the log house to leaving all the staff were very helpful and friendly.The food was delicious and the portions were plentiful.The restaurant was a delight to sit in and the bedroom had great charm with one of the biggest and most comfortable beds ever. - The Log House was superb.
