We had booked an overnight stay on the way back from Scotland. Our choice was an executive room - DB&B at a very good rate. The hotel was in a lovely setting in the select village of Wetheral, close to the city of Carlisle. Lovely walks by the river Eden, just minutes away and lots of history in the nearby St. Constantine's cell and the English Heritage abbey gatehouse. The room, although small, was immaculately decorated and very clean with lovely white crisp linen and soft fluffy towels. clean. It's close to everything at Waterhead and only a mile from
Ambleside, with good bus service to everywhere in the Lake District.
I'd return to the Lake District just to stay at the Quaysiders Club. -

... lo que la gente dice » location. I loved the couch as it was really squishy and comfortable. The shower was neat because you could program it to the exact temperature and pressure you wanted it. The provided coffee, milk, biscuits, and hot chocolate were _sublime_. The free WiFi was a great perk. Wonderful ambiance for small get-togethers.
