After a day on the road coming to the "Vineyard" is like paradise. We were upgraded to the garden suite at no further cost and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. This is a fabulous place. Huge rooms. The bathroom was the largest I've ever seen anywhere in the world (and bigger than many bedrooms I've stayed in). The bedroom was spotless. Both the owner (Jean) and the manager (Tjaart) were absolutely fantastic. They were constantly working hard to make me feel welcomed and kept asking for my preferences. Lovely relaxed atmosphere with very friendly efficient staff.
Breakfasts were top class with a great variety and excellent presentation.

Great location - close to Waterfront and perfect view over the lagoon. Big rooms with nice bath/shower. You better take the room with lagoon view, e.g. on the upper floor. But if you don't make it for the room with lagoon view, breakfast area has perfect view as well.

The rooms are beautiful and we had an amazing view from our deck outside our room. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Very close to Knysna but just far enough out of Town to enjoy the tranquility and beauty of the area.

Arnold and Annelise were fantastic and very attentive, the dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious, what a treat!
Take a room upstairs and you can enjoy a fantastic view and relax sipping a nice glass of wine. It was winter, but we were lucky to have the best weather and the house was very cosy and bedroom comfortable and warm!
