  We really enjoyed our stay at Basse Provence. It is a beautiful house nestled amongst the vineyards and with a great view of the mountains. We felt very welcome there and the accomodation was clean and comfortable and well maintained. The staff were all very friendly and accomodating and made sure we felt at home. The location is beautiful, surrounded by the winelands and the mountains and the accommodation itself was wonderful. Our room was spacious and under the thatched roof and the staff were very helpful. This was our favourite place to stay whilst we were in South Africa and we would thoroughly recommend it!

Our room was massive, the bed even bigger! We had our own balcony and the views were amazing. The location for us was perfect, we much preferred staying in Hout Bay over Cape Town. Can't say enough good things about the Amblewood - we will definitely return in the future!
