  Very helpful owners who helped me to plan activities the next few days of my trip. I a only passing through I found everyone to be very welcoming, and it was a very relaxing place to spend an evening after a long day on huge road.

  The reception on our arrival was friendly and helpful. Over the last four years we have stayed at several B&Bs, Hotels/Guest Houses in South Africa and the De Hoek rates as one of our best and most enjoyable places. Check-in was incredibly efficient -- we were in our room within about 45 seconds. The location in downtown Stellenbosch is fantastic -- across the street from a beautiful church and just one block from dozens of cafes and restaurants. And, of course, it's convenient to tons of wineries. Breakfast was served promptly, was delicious, and included everything one could want. This is a great guest house.

  The owners and staff of this Guest House made us very welcome. The room was furnished to a high standard and all the facilities were immaculately maintained. Our room was massive, the bed even bigger! We had our own balcony and the views were amazing. The location for us was perfect, we much preferred staying in Hout Bay over Cape Town.
