The view is beautiful & everyone including Diesel the Lab makes you feel at home and comfortable. Back to basics, with your own ‘braai’, outside kitchen, shower and toilet. Great hillside views, romantic evenings under the moon and stars. Great accommodation and very friendly and helpful staff. Good location to stay for your daytrips and game-drives to Addo Elephant Park.

We celerbrated our 11 year anniversary as well as both my birthday + his @ ur hotel. The night cost us a small fortune as we spent the afternoon @ ur spa (which I was very upset about because we could hear guests talking outside as well as the fact that the spa is to bright for anyone to relax)

  The staff at the Fernery were so friendly and helpful. The attention to detail and care that went into the evening meal (a prepared barbeque) was amazing and we felt really spoiled. I'd highly recommend the Fernery but would suggest a stay longer than we had (only one night unfortunately) as there is so much to experience. Also the Boxer dog belonging to the owners' son is the most gorgeous dog I've eve - My wife and i stayed in a B&B Chalet for 3 magnificent nights. This place is off the charts with total freedom & tranquility - only wish it would never have ended. We will return to this beautifull haven in the near future ..........

  Great guests, Vanessa and Kerneel put on a great BBQ with fresh meat from their farm. Great food and beautiful setting. The BIG surprise is the beautiful & tranquil stream a short stroll away. Absolutely lovely. Good value for money and a great stay.
