Comfortable accommodation and welcoming staff who were keen to see that you enjoyed your stay.
Hotel management arranged for us to barbeque during our stay and provided at reasonable cost all the necessary ingrediants including lighting the barbeque and cleaning up - a welcome change from eating out.
Breakfast was well served hot and plentiful. -

We could not fault anything. Great reception, lovely setting and room was tastefully decorated. Ursula and Campbell were the perfect hosts; nothing was too much trouble. We even had our car washed before we left. A big bonus was having a pair of Speckled Eagle Owls roosting in the tree just by us!

We like the friendliness of the owners. We were met and welcomed by Carina who made us feel at home.
We were shown to the cottage which was very clean. Carina explained what the facilities the cottage had. It was a two bedroom
and it had entertainment for the children. They could use the wi-fi facility of the establishment which the enjoyed.

Carina is a wonderful, friendly host who has achieved the right balance of being there when you need her whilst giving you the space to relax. The one bed unit was superb with high spec kitchen, comfy sofa and lovely large bed with en-suite. There was a bottle of wine and milk waiting for us and when my partner expressed a desire for beer, one appeared as if by magic! Is Carina really a fairy godmother??

Enjoyed this small guesthouse on the edge of Montagu and the hosts were most helpful in ensuring our stay was memorable. They checked the time of our reservation for dinner and breakfast was very good and served outside under some vines. -

Extremely hospitable and entertaining hosts in a lovely setting with some glorious artworks on the walls! The breakfast was superb with Mike creating montages with the fruit.

Very well-priced accommodation with quite a bit of space (except the kitchen - as there is no living room table we were eating like in a bar, in a row in the kitchen). Loved the welcome we received, the rooms were extremely comfortable and one of the two we booked had a view of the mountains. Stayed in a thatched roof lodge with high ceiling and big fan to keep things cool. Excellent breakfast and very thoughtfully prepared. The owners were away on short break and Hilda was an excellent host in their absence.

The all around atmosphere was relaxing, beautiful, friendly and pleasant. The staff very helpful, friendly and a pleasure to talk to. The rooms were comfortable, clean and relaxing. The vineyard was a delight to behold. Bella (3 month old Pug) was a friendly playful friend. And the food (Thanks Louise) was absolutely wonderful.

The staff was friendly without being intrusive. We had our privacy and all our needs were met with a smile. My children are still saying "mum we miss our home at Rose Cottage" because to us it was more than a home away from home.
