It was very quiet and relaxing comfortable bed beautiful gardens and outdoor area. You would never know you were so close to the airport. Food was well cooked and served nothing was too much trouble and we were welcome to stay until time for our late flight. The transport from/to the airport was so hassle free. Would recommend this lodge very high

The location was great for an overnight between flights out of the Joburg airport. The location is surprisingly rural, lots of open space around the hotel, and yet only a 10 minute ride to the airport. The gardens and landscaping of the hotel are beautiful and attract many native birds, great for the avid birdwatcher. The food was excellent.

Heather, the hostess, was helpful, friendly and informative. She
described their rebuilding of the entertainment area after an electical
fire two months ago and it will undoubtedly be an added attraction when
completed in about 2 mos time. They are redoing the pool at the same

The staff and the owners were so lovely to deal with. Like other
reviewers have said - it really was like staying with friends.
Free internet, free airport pick up and drop off, free shuttle to areas locally (shopping center etc)
We ate at the Guest House and like other reviewers - we thought the food was exceptional!
We needed to be close to the airport so the location was perfect.
The owners couldn't be more gracious and helpful. Really enjoyed our stay

The Staff were the best from the drivers, office staff cleaners and the kitchen staff. They became like family and I was sorry to have to say goodbye.
The food - especially breakfasts were delicious filling and nutritious.
Actually have not a single complaint. So appreciative of the wifi connection too.
If I ever am back that way I will stay there again.
It was so nice to have no unpleasant surprises in that what was shown on the Internet was exactly how it was on the ground.

Efficient, easy check in and out. They held buffet open late because a SAA flight that came in late stranding passengers sent them here for a 10:15 pm arrival which was when I got there. Good internet access. Staff was friendly and nice. Easy, efficient service to and from airport. -

We were en route to Singapore and stopped over at the Aviator Hotel for the night. I was very impressed by the excellent Service provided and the extra mile staff went to when they transported my husband, my sick 3 year old and myself to hospital at 3am so my son could be nebulised. I was extremely grateful. we stopped over at the aviator on our return trip for a few hours so our family could freshen up and rest before our flight to Durban. I will definitely be using the Aviator hotel again.

I stayed at Mondior for 1 night before my flight on the next day with my husband and 5 month old daughter. The hotel is right next to the airport and there is a shuttle every 20 min. to the terminal which is very convenient. As the room we booked was very small to fit a baby cot they upgraded us with bigger one which was very very nice of them. I was very impressed by the baby cot they gave us.
