  The location was perfect for us - in the town and in walking distance to shops and recommended restaurants. The room was lovely with an outlook onto the garden. Staff were very friendly and helpful, gave us suggestions on what we could do in our very limited time in Franshhoek ( we only stayed one night). Breakfast was great even tried hard to get... lo que la gente dice » me gluten free food etc.This was definitely a place we will come back to for a longer stay next time we're in South Africa so we can explore the area - We were looked after by James and Pat who were both very friendly and helpful. On arrival we were given an upgraded room which was very clean and tidy with a very large bed! The house was very interesting with an old colonial feel. It is in a secluded spot, very peaceful but within easy walking distance to the town which is very beautiful. We only stayed 1 night but could easily have stayed longer.
