Fabulous room on two levels with a view over the ocean; great minimalist decor. The lounge was a wonderful place to watch the sun set over the ocean... although drinks buffet a bit pricey (good food though). Great location for Eolian islands cruises. Stayed in triple room (suite) and it was very spacious. Bathroom very nice. We didn't had breakfast included, but we had dinner one evening. The service was very good and the food delicious.

Owner is very friendly, caring, educated and hospitable.
No problem getting there. Just use the coordinates you receive from Balarte or the 'location on the map'-feature in your TomTom. letsbookhotel.comsite gives you the exact location. Also Balarte signs on roads close by.

Very eclectic and modern design, the room was very comfortable with lots of storage space and high end shower and bath soaps. The location is rural and very peaceful, the grounds are beautiful, the breakfast was a delicious mix of local dishes and fresh fruit. The lady in charge was very graceful and helpful. I would describe the Balarte as the Gugenheim in the middle on the Scicilian countryside !

The staff were very friendly and helpful. When the rooms were serviced each day there were many little additional touches that showed that the staff really cared. Lovely clean, bright rooms with plenty of storage space and good air conditioning. The mini bar fridge and valuables safe were especially useful.
