Excellent hotel. Booked it from the reviews on line and I can't praise the hotel and staff enough. We paid a little extra for a room overlooking the lake and the view was well worth it. Great location, around the corner from the lakefront promenade with its luxury hotels, including the 150 year old Grand Hotel des Iles Borromees, of Hemingway (A Farewell to Arms) fame. Very friendly and helpful staff, especially Giuseppe, who greeted us on arrival and daily with a warm smile and two-handed handshake. A short walk to everything, downtown shopping and restaurants and the ferries to the islands in the lake. Generous breakfast buffet with home-baked cakes and pastries.

It was very peaceful, enjoyed the views of the lake and was a great place to relax as we wanted to spend a few days without too much driving etc. The hotel has a beautiful location, views from the terrace/pool were amazing. We loved staying at Tenuta Montzeglio. The rooms were very comfortable and the setting beautiful. The food was excellent. Each day we were asked a few questions about what we wanted to eat and although we never saw a menu we were always delighted with the food. We also loved the plates of salami and chees that came with our afternoon drinks.
