  Beautiful view over Lake Como. The hotel room was well appointed and had a spectacular view up and down the Lake. The food and staff in the restaurant were of a high standard and very helpful. Front desk staff even drove us around when it started to rain.   It was very peaceful, enjoyed the views of the lake and was a great place to relax as we wanted to spend a few days without too much driving etc. The hotel has a beautiful location, views from the terrace/pool were amazing. The staff was welcoming and friendly and really went out of their way to make our stay perfect. The location was terrific - we can't wait to return!

  The staff were the nicest people we met on our trip. So helpful and attentive and even helped us rent a private boat. Great location right on the lake and close to Stresa. Overall I believe the reviews on this hotel were quiet harsh and Aston deserves better review - Woman at front desk was extremely helpful in finding a romantic place for dinner.   1) It has a very efficient shuttle bus service. I just refered to the hotel website. I called the hotel right after picking up my luggage, and I didn't have to wait or try to find a taxi at the airport 10:00 pm. 2)The staffs were kind and helpful. 3) Hotel facility itself was nothing but ordinary, but I was impressed by how spotlessly clean it is.... lo que la gente dice » Not mentioning of the wooden floor, the shower and stuff, even a dustbin in the bath was polished like a mirror. 4)Breakfast was continental and I li - The staff was so helpful in every respect, from the check-in to the shuttle pick up to the "Happy Hour" staff in the lounge. The room was very comfy and roomy with a very large bathroom which we didn't experience anywhere else in Italy. Breakfast had such an array of food from fruit to cereal, eggs, meat tray, breads and pastries. We chose this room as it was close to Malpensa Airport and would highly recommend to any traveler.
