Friendly hotel staff. Very clean, quiet, beautifully decorated and equipped room. Excellent position, only few hundred meters from the city center and easy to reach from the national road. - we loved everything. Pool looked and was fantastic. Whole hotel was really beautiful nad staff friendly and welcoming

This is the very best hotel! We toured Crete for 11 days and wished we had stayed here for more than 1 night. I rarely take the time to write reviews but Megaron was so exceptional that I felt compelled to comment. The service, room, breakfast buffet are extraordinary! It's the first all-female run 5-star hotel I've stayed in from manager, dining maitre d' to porters. Sophia, the reception/concierge + Poppy the porter and service staff + Voula in the dining room go the extra distance to be kind and helpful. Nothing was too much for any of the staff - you were treated superbly with a fantastic hotel room & great sea views.
As we arrived late & missed dinner, the hotel had placed a plate of salad, cold meat, a bottle of wine & water on our arrival.
During meal times, there was a wide selection of dishes available.
Sissi is a quiet area as is the hotel and fantastic for peace & relaxation.
The spa treatments that i received were well worth the money.

The owner maintains a small store with basic supplies on the compound, which is very convenient considering that the ~30 people settlement is a long way from places with shops and does not offer any reasonable supply. The place is definitely worth driving the narrow road up to it.

The food was great. Excellent variety of gourmet foods. The reception was very helpful with every questions we had. On our last day they held our luggage and let us use the facilities until we were ready to leave. They also booked a very comfortable taxi for us to get to port. -
The natural friendliness of all staff they were all very welcoming.

The hotel was in an amazing location set in a cove, the exterior of the hotel blended into the natural cove scene which was great.
The staff were great very attentive and the pool/ beach was not crowded just right. -
Spacious, private, luxury in a wonderful setting with superb facilitites and excellent staff and high standard of food and wine

מקום מומלץ ביותר - נקי ,מטופח שרות טוב, אוכל טוב, מאד בטוח לילדים. מאד שקט ושלוו ואם זאת קרוב לים ולעיר רתימנו. נהנינו מאד!.The villa, the pool,the yard are all very clean and comfortable. very safe for children - parents can sit and let the kids play around.
