This is the very best hotel! We toured Crete for 11 days and wished we had stayed here for more than 1 night. We plan to return and will definitely book this hotel again because it is in the best location directly across from the port, very easy access to all the attractions in the area, easy parking, best bedding with Coco Mat bedding incredibly

I rarely take the time to write reviews but Megaron was so exceptional that I felt compelled to comment. The service, room, breakfast buffet are extraordinary! It's the first all-female run 5-star hotel I've stayed in from manager, dining maitre d' to porters. Sophia, the reception/concierge + Poppy the porter and service staff + Voula in the dining room go the extra distance to be kind and helpful. We liked everything in castello! When we arrived maria the reception
lady gave us a nice welcome and told us that they've upgraded us to
the honeymoon suite ! we had a big comfortable room, well designed with
a jacuzzi on the large balcony facing the sea. We got a basket of

Nothing was too much for any of the staff - you were treated superbly with a fantastic hotel room & great sea views.
As we arrived late & missed dinner, the hotel had placed a plate of salad, cold meat, a bottle of wine & water on our arrival.
During meal times, there was a wide selection of dishes available.
Sissi is a quiet area as is the hotel and fantastic for peace & relaxation.
The spa treatments that i received were well worth the money.

A really nice place for a relaxed vacation. Service is excellent, and the places really feels out of the way of regular tourism. A really charming "taberna" closeby serves really tasty food. The owner maintains a small store with basic supplies on the compound, which is very convenient considering that the ~30 people settlement is a long way from places with shops and does not offer any reasonable supply. The place is definitely worth driving the narrow road up to it.

The food was great. Excellent variety of gourmet foods. The reception was very helpful with every questions we had. On our last day they held our luggage and let us use the facilities until we were ready to leave. They also booked a very comfortable taxi for us to get to port. -
The natural friendliness of all staff they were all very welcoming.

Elounda Bay Palace was a great hotel. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The food was of a really high standard and really, really good. The hotel was busy but all the sunbathing areas were really spread out so you never felt like the hotel was overcrowded or you were sitting on top of anyone.

The hotel was in an amazing location set in a cove, the exterior of the hotel blended into the natural cove scene which was great.
The staff were great very attentive and the pool/ beach was not crowded just right. -

מקום מומלץ ביותר - נקי ,מטופח שרות טוב, אוכל טוב, מאד בטוח לילדים. מאד שקט ושלוו ואם זאת קרוב לים ולעיר רתימנו. נהנינו מאד!.The villa, the pool,the yard are all very clean and comfortable. very safe for children - parents can sit and let the kids play around. The restaurant serves good food at reasonable price. beautiful view.
