Very attractive hotel/apartment block located midway between town and the beach, so quiet and yet convenient. Nice pool (though surprisingly cold after a long, hot summer) and outdoor breakfast/lunch area. Staff very friendly and helpful - they even upgraded us to a 2 bed apartment overlooking the pool at no extra cost - because it was available!

Socrates is a lovely hotel. Very friendly owners, Eva and George.
Absolutely perfect pool area, with comfortable sunbeds and a wonderful
garden. We got clean towels every day and the room was perfectly
cleaned. It was about 200 m to the bus stop (32) to Hersonissos and to
the beach 200-250 M. The hotel is perfectly situated in the countryside
quiet yet central. I would definitely go back. And the transfer service

Very good location , very nice , friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is in the heart of Malia and just 2 minuts walking to beach. Lots of bars , restaurants and night clubs are close to this hotel. The room was of high standard, everything new and stylish. Nice, deep pool and view to the mountains. The hotel is run by an extremely friendly family, the nicest people we met on Crete :) we enjoyed ourselves very much. Loved the bar, chilled with a shisha every night ;) -

I spend very nice holiday there with my family. Beautifull place, with nice design. Close to everything. Not noisy and it is very important in Malia! And you really feel like you are in holiday at home, thank you Marina and her family for this sensation. Also you can find there the best Greek salad I've ever eaten. I really recommend this hotel especially if you are the family with the children, and I hope to come back as soon as possible!!!

We are just back from a fantastic stay at Parthenis Beach. We booked into stay for an extra 2 nights it was so wonderful. The setting is amazing right overlooking a stunning beach with beautiful clear blue waters and those sun beds are just so comfy. we ordered a superior room which was excellent big and comfort.
The swimming pool is very clean and beutiful.
The hotel's area is very large so we didn't notice there many people until we went to walk all over the resort.
The location is great. on the main street of malia and about 300 meters from the nearby bus station. -
