Everything was great! After we booked Lambros, the owner sent us a friendly email asking article details and arranged to meet us at the ferry. We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Mata. This family-run place is super
friendly and welcoming. The rooms all have private balconies, but there
are also communal spaces which make it easy to meet other travellers.
The garden setting is gorgeous and really peaceful. Many people hit up
Ios to party, but we had a very relaxing time staying at Villa Mata. The
little outdoor kitchen is handy for cooking up some food. Also the staff
were really helpful when we were planning our onward leg.

Modest but very cozy rooms next to a quiet, nice beach. Location perfect (10-15 minute walk up to the city, bars and nightlife). The owner Katerina is a sweetheart! -

The view is incredible. Good walking distance to the main town and mypolotas beach. Great hospitality. Nick went out of his way to find us at the beach on our last day to let us know our ferry had been cancelled. He drove us down to the port so we could make the earlier one on time. -

Friendliness of Olga and staff, lovely view from porch, the pool and bar area (too cool to swim but beautiful!). Olga was very helpful when my husband hurt his ankle. She picked us up at ferry, handled all luggage, and drove us back to port. -

El hotel esta enfrente de la playa de Gialos, se puede ir caminando al puerto que esta a 3 min, hay supermercados, restaurantes y sitios para alquiler vehículos, Chora esta al lado tambien. Sin duda volvería es económico, no hay ruidos, y te tratan como a un hijo más, las mujeres son encantadoras!! -

We liked staying at the port instead of Chora, because Chora is party zone in the nights and evenings.
The Island Ios is great, beautifull and great to see on an ATV.
The hotel room got what we needed and we would like to stay there again - and visit the two sweet Ladies again! -
The place is right on the beach, so that is very good.
Rent a car and tour the island!

The hotel is on a hill oposite to the Ios town but near (2 min) from the main plaza and the bus terminal. It has a great view of the Ios and you can look at the sunset, especially from the restaurant.The room was cleaned and the towels were changed our towels every day. This place is just amazing, Irene and Dmitri look after everyone so well. they really make you feel at home, it is very laid back and chilled and the cocktails are good too. I would recommend George and Irene to everyone, if you respect them they will do anything for you.
