The room size was great- a seperate living to bedroom area and balcony was appreciated. The €3 breakfast option was perfect. Everything was easy and enjoyable. -

Made to feel that you are welcome and not just another guest by Ed and Ineke from the moment that you arrive. Nothing was too much trouble. We stayed for 4 nights in the apartment which was far bigger than we expected. Bedroom large, kitchen enough facilities to be self catering if you wished. We were offered the option to eat with Ed and Ineke

The staff and general atmosphere was amazing. The owners, Ed and Ineka were incredible hosts as were their friends, Vim and Ingrid. You felt as though you were staying as guests in their home. Nothing was too much trouble, even offering to pick us up from the airport and babysitting our children. They also kindly waived the fee when we had to cut short our stay at the last minute. from checking in/out and arranging a taxi for us was awesome.

The reception of Mrs. Schmitt (Agence Transimmo) was very warm. She gave us all the tips we needed the town of Sarlat and the functioning of the apartment. The Duo studio, where we stayed, is complete and very cozy. The shower is strong. The towels and sheets are clean and soft. Great location close to amenities and a short trip into the lovely town of Bergerac. Quiet and immaculately kept resort. Good pool with shade. Small enough so cleaning at the end of the stay doesn't take long. Vacuum cleaner, mop etc supplied. Have found cleaning at end of holiday to be usual in French properties. -

We stayed in the hotel as part of a wedding party, we had such a wonderful stay and would like to mention Fabien a fantastic hotel manager who couldn't do enough for us he was the perfect host, and very kind and accommodating. The hotel's location is in a beautiful french village and is suitable for families, great base to explore the dordogne. -

We stayed one night after a long drive and everything was perfect; instructions were good, old farmhouse with large room, cool and comfortable (it was 29 degrees during the day). Pleasant hosts, excellent advice about where to eat in Bergerac, excellent and relaxed breakfast.

en general todo duplex espacioso, moderno bien decorado comodo fuimos 2 parejas y lo recomiendo menaje completo, calefacción lavavajillas en fín todo lo necesario para pasar unos días tranquilos, buenas vistas a un Km del centro. -

Le Porche de Sarlat is located in the old city of Sarlat and private car parking is located just outside the wall. Alex the owner was waiting for us when we arrived and explained all the appliances within the apartment which was new with all modern appliances and cooking requirements. Its located in an old stone building dating from the 1500's with cafes and restaurants within easy walking distance. Liked everything - superb location close to many historic Dordogne villages & towns. Large well kept grounds and pools. Great sized room with private courtyard at rear and shared garden at front. I could go on and on about how perfect it was...........we will return & recommend it to others. -
