Well Pascal made it for us. He was such a nice guy and great company,
not that he intruded at all. We learned more about French culture and
social life from Pascal than any guide book. Laurence, his wife, is just

We stayed for one night here on our way home from a holiday at this charming b&b and wish it was for longer. The room was enormous and restored to a very high level, the bed especially comfortable and shower fantastic. The whole house was full of character, peaceful and very conveniently located for the city centre.

The owners treat this property like a jewel. The rooms are modern,
clean, comfortable, and well laid out. Their consideration is reflected
in little things: a warm greeting, lovely breakfast with homemade jams,
local butter, farm yogurt, and local 'pain'. Upon our departure,
the husband/chef came out to our car to bid us farewell. 'See
you again' is more like it.

A most charming hotel, beautifully designed and very chic! The furnishings and sanitaryware were of very high standard. Everything was spotless. Beautiful setting in the village of Cadouin. Comfortable room in your own little garden oasis. Even though it's extremely close to the city centre, you never feel that way as it's like a little haven away from the bustle of crowds and noise. Very accommodating and sweet hosts who were patient with my atrocious French and always ready to help. Considering the dismal breakfast choices in Sarlat, I was very thankful I opted for the breakfast every morning. It not only tied me over for lunch but on several days replaced my lunch! Would happil

We had a relaxing two night stay at Petit Manoir Meysset in November.
Our host, Suzette, spoke French and our home language (Aussie) which
meant we had plenty to discuss. We received an upgrade to a beautiful,
big room that was very well appointed. Breakfast, which costs extra but
is well worth the €7 each, was delicious and filling. The Dordogne
region is amazing! It requires a much longer visit than we could manage.
