Our hosts, Raphael and Patrick were wonderful, starting with our warm welcome, our pre-dinner drinks, beautiful dinner, post dinner drinks in the sitting room and our farewell. They were friendly and great company the whole time we were there although at the same time keeping their distance as well. The attention to detail was superb and we were all treated like royalty. George and Eduard were incredible hosts. From we the moment we drove up, we were made to feel very special. They helped us with our luggage, showed us to a beautiful room, ( with a fan!! A rarity and wonderful addition) , gave us a tour of the charming chateau and invited us to use the pool.
The breakfast, while not included, was really worth ever

If you like a luxurious night away in an enchanting chateau with
beautiful service and friendly owners, you should stay here. My stay
could not have been more pleasant, in all respects. The food was
delicious and not overpriced. The service was excellent, from start to
finish. The owner patiently answered my many questions before my stay.
The staff arranges for a taxi to pick you up at the train station, so
the fact that the chateau is a bit isolated does not make a difference

The owners treat this property like a jewel. The rooms are modern,
clean, comfortable, and well laid out. Their consideration is reflected
in little things: a warm greeting, lovely breakfast with homemade jams,
local butter, farm yogurt, and local 'pain'. Upon our departure,
the husband/chef came out to our car to bid us farewell. 'See
you again' is more like it.

The room was nice and comfortable with separate areas for the bed and dressing/lounge. It was at the top of the chateau with views over the surrounding countryside.
The owners are very welcoming and friendly, with helpful advice for trips out.

We thorough enjoyed the personalized service and hospitality offered by all the staff at De Lalande. The hostess Catherine was charming and a lovely lady. Nothing was too much trouble for her guests. The grounds were beautiful and whilst we had poor weather, in warmer weather the pool and terrace would be superb. The chateaux has been refurbished beautifully, tasteful and is comfortable. Can only recommend.
