Our hosts, Raphael and Patrick were wonderful, starting with our warm welcome, our pre-dinner drinks, beautiful dinner, post dinner drinks in the sitting room and our farewell. We stayed for one night here on our way home from a holiday at this charming b&b and wish it was for longer. The room was enormous and restored to a very high level, the bed especially comfortable and shower fantastic. George and Eduard were incredible hosts. From we the moment we drove up, we were made to feel very special. They helped us with our luggage, showed us to a beautiful room, ( with a fan!! A rarity and wonderful addition) , gave us a tour of the charming chateau and invited us to use the pool.

A most charming hotel, beautifully designed and very chic! The furnishings and sanitaryware were of very high standard. Everything was spotless. Beautiful setting in the village of Cadouin. The staff and general atmosphere was amazing. The owners, Ed and Ineka were incredible hosts as were their friends, Vim and Ingrid. You felt as though you were staying as guests in their home. Nothing was too much trouble, even offering to pick us up from the airport and babysitting our children. They also kindly waived the fee when we had to cut short our stay at the last minute. Le Porche de Sarlat is located in the old city of Sarlat and private car parking is located just outside the wall. Alex the owner was waiting for us when we arrived and explained all the appliances within the apartment which was new with all modern appliances and cooking requirements. Comfortable room in your own little garden oasis. Even though it's extremely close to the city centre, you never feel that way as it's like a little haven away from the bustle of crowds and noise. Very accommodating and sweet hosts who were patient with my atrocious French and always ready to help.
