We were greeted by Charles the owner on our arrival - and a very warm welcome indeed. The hotel is wonderful, the food fabulous and the location utterly exquisite - such a quiet peaceful location. Nothing at all was aproblem - the staff were wonderful. -

El chateau es espectacular, por el edificio, instalaciones, habitaciones. - La zona donde se encuentra el castillo, es una autentica maravilla, dispone de zona de aparcamiento dentro del recinto. Recomendado para hacer visitas por la zona del Perigord, está 5 minutos en coche de Perigueux.

A very helpful and friendly host assisted by two helpful four legged friends, Pluto the St Bernard and his sidekick Louis. We took our mini wire and he was treated as a part of the family and got on really well with Pluto. We had a relaxing two night stay at Petit Manoir Meysset in November.
Our host, Suzette, spoke French and our home language (Aussie) which
meant we had plenty to discuss. We received an upgrade to a beautiful,
big room that was very well appointed. Breakfast, which costs extra but
is well worth the €7 each, was delicious and filling. The Dordogne
region is amazing! It requires a much longer visit than we could manage.

We were given a warm welcome on our arrival at Au Nid des Thes. The hotel is situated on a pedestrian street in the small town and has easy access to shops and restaurants. The location in the centre of Brantome meant easy access to the wonderful canals, abbeye, shops and restaurants. Breakfast was a simple but very well done Continental with homemade preserves. Sandrine was very helpful and the room was large, well equipped and very clean. Excellent all round and we would stay there again.

The friendly and helpful staff and the beautiful gardens withsunloungers. Made to feel that you are welcome and not just another guest by Ed and Ineke from the moment that you arrive. Nothing was too much trouble. We stayed for 4 nights in the apartment which was far bigger than we expected. Bedroom large, kitchen enough facilities to be self catering if you wished. We were offered the option to eat with Ed and Ineke

The staff and general atmosphere was amazing. The owners, Ed and Ineka were incredible hosts as were their friends, Vim and Ingrid. You felt as though you were staying as guests in their home. Nothing was too much trouble, even offering to pick us up from the airport and babysitting our children. They also kindly waived the fee when we had to cut short our stay at the last minute. Great location. Excellent walking opportunities. We were in the annex so enjoyed a lovely large room with our car parked safely under our window. Staff offered help in getting suitcases upstairs. Comfortable bed and pillows.

The reception of Mrs. Schmitt (Agence Transimmo) was very warm. She gave us all the tips we needed the town of Sarlat and the functioning of the apartment. The Duo studio, where we stayed, is complete and very cozy. The shower is strong. The towels and sheets are clean and soft.
