  Made to feel that you are welcome and not just another guest by Ed and Ineke from the moment that you arrive. Nothing was too much trouble. We stayed for 4 nights in the apartment which was far bigger than we expected. Bedroom large, kitchen enough facilities to be self catering if you wished. Chickens visited us every morning - The staff and general atmosphere was amazing. The owners, Ed and Ineka were incredible hosts as were their friends, Vim and Ingrid. You felt as though you were staying as guests in their home. Nothing was too much trouble, even offering to pick us up from the airport and babysitting our children. They also kindly waived the fee when we had to cut short our stay at the last minute. Also very relaxed and sociable atmosphere. Dinner each night was fantastic and good value.   The hotel was small, clean and pleasant with the bonus of a swimming pool. The staff were excellent, especially when we arrived during a festival and couldn't park. One of the owners sorted this out very quickly with the local security.   Excellent value accommodation. Facilities good. Peaceful and quiet countryside location. Visitors would need to have access to a car/transport to stay there. We stayed for 1 week and quickly felt at home. I recommend this accommodation if you are prepared to drive to restaurants etc. There are few facilities within walking distance. Could be great for a longer stay, with horse riding available and good access to Bergerac and the surrounding Dordogne area.
