  We loved our time at the Grand Mercure. Staff are friendly and very down to earth. The facilities are great we spent more time in the pool then we did at the beach. The location is awesome you can smell the beach and plenty of restaurants to go to. This place is close to plenty of restaurants, bars, shops, event parks, beach, etc. We only stayed for 2 nights and then dro - Michelle the owner is amazing! She made us feel so welcome and couldn't have done more to accommodate us. She helped us book excursions and was full of local knowledge. The rooms are beautiful and you can tell there is a lot of personal touches with the lovely wooden furniture. The beds are the most comfortable we have ever stayed in and we got a great nights sleep.   The hotel was right across front eh each with excellent views. The room was large and well equipped. Parking was secure and access to the room was easy with the elevator from the basement. - I found the staff very helpful and Lisa was very efficient, was pleased with the unit itself and the view of the bay was excellent, loved having two tv's.

  The friendliness and help afforded us by Bob and Jenny was superb. I had my 96 Y.O. Aunt with us, and the facilities were exactly what we needed for her. I.E.lift, shower base, and Bob offered a shower chair for her as well. The whole place is a credit to their diligence, as it is immaculate. A pleasure to stay with them. Very comfortable accomodation fully self-contained which helps to keep the costs down. Small touches like washing powder and cold water in the fridge are very welcoming. Fresh milk is always a bonus.
