  Friendly owner, you can see that he is proud of his motel. The motel is basic but we had a great bed, clean bathroom and useful fridge. You don't need much more when going for a long hike to Mt Eddy, or relaxing spa somewhere near! Comfortable, quiet and amazing breakfast across the street. And nice to wake up, open the door and have a view on the... what people say » majestic Mt Shasta! - The owner was friendly, helpful and made us feel welcome. The room was very clean and well kept, the bed was surprisingly comfortable and the bathroom was pleasantly updated. The owner has gone out of his way to provide a distraction free room for travelers to spend the night, and while keeping it simple, provided us with an exceptional value.

  Cleanliness of room 223. Give this staff some credit for their efforts. Have stayed at other 6's and they were run down and staff was "automated" but not here. I travel with Pet. Was concerned about enviornment thus not daily washing of sheets and linens. Way to save water! - The staff were excellent, friendly people. Totally informative and ... what people say » a joy to deal with. The coin laundry was handy. WiFi (entice me back with FREE WiFi...). I really appreciated how I was given a room at the quiet end of the south wing. I had been on the road for over 12 hours!
