It's about 3 blocks away from the Metro which made it very easy getting to all tourist attractions. It was great to have a kitchen with us. I didn't find a supermarket close by, by CVS next door had many choices for us to make sandwiches to bring with us to our tours. The front desk was very nice as well as the rest of the staff. There were many choices for breakfast. Everything, the staff were always pleasant everywhere, check in, valet parking, breakfast attendants and room cleaning, always lovely.The location was perfect too. We had a room with a kitchenette and this was a nice roomy area to spread out in. We will definitely stay here again if we are lucky enough to get back to DC!.
all reviews » A large room with the ability to cook own meals if needed. The rate included a terrific breakfast in a pleasant dining area. Location near White House meant it was easy to get around Washington. Subway line nearby. Small cafes and restaurants in surrounding streets. Location very safe and comfortable. We Enjoyed the stay at Residence Inn more than I can write in this survey ! The staff always spoke and greeted us with a warm smile . Our room was clean and comfortable . The location was the best ! I usually stay at a Hilton , but no more ! I will stay with Residence Inn . what a wonderful value!. Spacious, clean rooms, well equipped kitchen. Convenient location to all D.C. attractions. Complimentary breakfast had healthy choices. Fitness room well equipped w/several cardio mchs & free weights. Breakfast,. complimentary dinner is too poor, as a group hotel, it's better not provide such complimentary goods. There is a daily valet parking fee of $33.00 plus tax. The kitchen has electric burners only; no indication of temperature. It's either on or off. Difficult to cook . Seems a bit pricey, especially when you factor in the $33.00 per day valet parking fee. The breakfast room gets overcrowded. They need to open a conference room on the same floor for overflow. Sofa bed most uncomfortable, springs sticking into body every movement made. The problem with getting taxi service. everything was great. slow wifi. Nothing. noise at night. The sofa bed was VERY BAD. the springs of the mattress were felt in the bones. Do not recommend to use it at all. High price of room Plumbing facilities poorly maintained. The toilet. Breakfast room was small but all the staff were very friendly and provide home atmosphere.
