  What a great town. A very pleasant surprise. Hotel is easily accessible from the road, but the pleasing courtyard shelters you from road noise. Excellent staff, immaculate rooms. We had some very nice dinners in Telachapi also, you can't go wrong with any of the steak houses here. We also participated in their chili cook off. Visit red rock canyon state park for some beautiful rock vistas!,, - The young man working behind the front desk when we arrived around midnight on Saturday night/Sunday (9/21-22/2013) morning was very helpful and professional. The bed was EXCEPTIONALLY comfortable and everything was very clean and well organized. The rooms had inside entrances and it was quiet and smelled clean and fresh.

  Nicole and her husband were very gracious to us, the motel has been delightfully remodeled and clean new comfy pillows, great warm blankets, they even brought in a small space heater though we didn't need the wall heater that night. So very cozy, fresh air, beautiful trees, and a delicious and so unexpected snack platter with Halloween cookies, ch... what people say » eeses, meats and buttery crackers. Also, we had choices of fresh coffee, and chai teas, - just more than one expects. Also, it is very quiet which goe - The staff of the motel are incredibly helpful, friendly, and welcoming. They go out of their way to accommodate their guests. Nicole at the front desk is an expert on local information and happy to take time out to help you find what you need and want. There are comfy chairs on the patio in the front of the hotel where you can sit in the evenings to star gaze or chat with friends, and a shady grassy area in back where some patrons were using the bbq for dinner, sitting under the star, watching

  Great price and location. Cleanliness was good except for carpet. - It was inexpensive. It was off the beaten path so it didn't have the highway noise.
