I liked that I had a room right next to the pool area with two children 9 and 11. They thought it was really cool. I also liked the closeness of the vending machines. The room service was also great. Your staff at the restaurant was always friendly and helpful for all of our meals. Staff was so accommodating! Bad weather stranded many motorists - and the employees really rose to the occasion! The place has been cleaned up recently - we frequently stay in Sioux Falls, and they have earned my business permanently!.
all reviews » When I checked in, there were tons of motorcyclists going to Sturgis for the ralley. I was VERY concerned about the potential for lots of rowdiness and noise, but was pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was!. indoor and outdoor pools, onsite restaurant and bar, roomservice. i liked that the water fun area was set for little children. Minerva's on site was a big plus. Pool area was nice for kiddos. kids like the waterpark. Good pool area. Pool area. The Pool. Room was comfortable. Pool was nice. Restaurant staff very friendly. The pool was nice and warm, and the bed was very comfortable. Food at cafe was great. Very accommodating staff there. Staff was really professional and friendly. The hotel has had a major redo since I last stayed here, around 12 years ago. It was scummy back then. It is pretty nice now! Comfy beds, nice rooms, microwave, nice sized fridge that actually works! I was impressed! Oh and the water park is great! It actually has warm water in the pools compared to other water parks in the area (ramada, and holiday in express Brandon). I wish I had a better air conditioning system. We are a family that likes a cool room to sleep and noise of a fan. Next time I will just bring my own fan because we really had a great time. There was no continental breakfast. The thermostat in our room did not seem to be working. that there wasnt a seprate time for adults in the water area. We ask for a room close to the lobby and I think there were only 4 rooms till the end of the hall. Not close at all. One elevator. My mom has a bad ankle and the stairs were hard for her. As many times as I was a quest there, it would be nice to get a discount on my next stay or better yet a free night. Going through renovations. Front desk staff rather rude. Breakfast buffet should be included in stay. Hotel shows its age. There was almost no water pressure in our room's shower or tub. I couldn't rinse my hair or fill the tub! Front desk solution was shower in a different room in the morning--not my idea of convenient. I also had to ask them three times for a rollaway. Also the floor around the hot tub was not very clean. Tub had very slow drain so while showering it filled up and the next person showering had to stand in last person's water. Pool outdated, bed uncomfortable, bathroom floor sticky, carpet felt matted and dirty. Not a good value. The shower had very low water pressure and the drain was broken. :( The hotel has been updated but the bathrooms look like they got a cheap redo...no granite here. And I'm spending almost $200 and no continental breakfast, c'mon! Restaurants didn't seem very allergy friendly. Our son, who has a milk allergy, had a tough time eating any of their food. Thank goodness the rooms have fridges so we could buy and keep his food there!.
