The place in general is very nicely designed, which is what Santa Fe is about. Some very nice sculpture/art for decor. The complimentary wine in the early evening, the breakfast was good.The staff at the upstairs bar/breakfast room was very friendly, also at the restaurant, and at the reception in the Hacienda building. The staff at the main reception area were courteous. I loved the experience. The hospitality was outstanding. The gathering terrace room with the most comfy SW leather and kiva fireplace with ponderosa pine burning was perfect for cocktail hour and breakfast. I was happy to have an exercise room and all the spa amenities. The welcome basket of fruit was such a standing touch of class. Want to go back!!!!.

The best Hotel Shuttle Service we have experience anywhere, which took us to our destination (within one mile radius of Plaza) and collected us promptly where we asked - this was superb. The Hotel was wonderful! Room- exquisite decoration & design; Food- fresh, plenty of breakfast, tasty lunch & delicious dinner; Spa-absolute best massages & products; Staff- friendly & informative; Location- close proximity to everything. The hotel was all we had hoped & more. We thank you all. The location was perrfect. The room which was a suite was large, very clean and decorated well. The bed was comfortable the staff were friendly. We liked that this hotel was owned by Native Americans as well. This was a wonderful hotel. The Hacienda & Spa has incredible suites! The spa, with it's highly trained staff, is conveniently located next to the entrance to the Hacienda. The butler service was superb! The hotel restaurant was excellent!. everyone was very helpful and accomodating. loved the happy hour with the fire going in the fire place Also the shuttle service was very nice. Quiet hotel in general,comfortable beds, very nice tile bath, friendly staff, lovely breakfast area rooftop, quick efficient butler service. Staff is outstanding, especially the front desk, rooms are very comfortable, very pet friendly, our Shih Tzu loved it... Food was O.K. Our shuttle driver was a bit rude. Need bathroom by Exercise Room. The Amaya Restaurant was below par - Menu selection was limited, and the food was not great quality, nor was the small wine selection. The Hotel only has this one Restaurant - but there is good to great dining nearby. We had to pay close to $50 extra above the published room rate for hotel fees, taxes, and a special 15 per night special rate. Our room was advertised at 230 and we paid 280 per night. It was shock at the end. We didn't mind the special 15 rate which goes for good causes I just think with that and the other 35 per night in taxes and fees it's not clear up front. We could not stay longer due to personal commitments. Lack of consistent service for a luxury experience; e.g., hacienda room provided newspaper and fruit one day, not the next, etc. no view in room, construction noise, old small tv. Meals & bar drinks are expensive (we didn't arrive in time for happy hour). If you arrive after dark, finding the registration lobby is a rather byzantine experience... We stayed for eleven days our room 428 we liked to sleep without A/C by open window but this was impossible due to nouise from Railway.Twice we found dirty glasses on the fruit juice table.Used dishes could have been cleaned up smarter at breakfast it was not at Roberts shift.The Pool should be cleaned from 6 to 8 am before guest arrive.We own and operate a Hotel in the Pacific and know how hard it sometimes is. difficult to regulate the room temperature, always to hot even with the fireplace turned off. About 15 min walk to plaza area. Pool not heated. Heater/air conditioner noisy. I missed somethings at standard (self-service) breakfast, like ham and cheese. location wasn't great....view of bank.
