Well located in the heart of Fishermans Wharf. Within a stones throw away from cable car choices. We particularly enjoyed the large sized rooms and the "sinking" feeling you get with their beds. Small gym enough for a good run and a bike. They have a small cafe called the Bistro which is amply stocked with food choices. Maria tended our room quite well!. The location - the street car and cable car and bus stops were all less than 1 block from the hotel. The staff was very cordial and helpful. Edward the concierge was knowledgeable and eager to assist. Lots of great eateries close by.
all reviews » Good location to all of the tourist attractions. Valet is pricey, but it is the same in all major cities. It's to be expected. Free in and out service is appreciated. The location... Not much help in the lobby when it came to our three heavy luggages. We were left on our own to lug it into our bedroom. Outside of that we had no issues. No breakfast included!. Not overly cheap but average for area not that close to city centre (approx $15 cab fare) but still only 15 mins away. Walk in about an hour but very hilly walk! Hard to get cab, best to get staff to book a city car for you, especially for airport run (set $55 fee). They had no microwave. The wall was thin, you might hear the door close of neighbor. Would like area to hang out and relax other than the one table in the lobby (it was too windy outside to sit in the courtyard),. That the room didn't come with breakfast. Public transportation from downtown to this hotel is limited. Windy area very cold right infront of port. the fact that it did not inclue breakfast and that the restaurant was not budget friendly. Nothing. Little pricey for what it was. Valet parking 41 dollars per day, although you are in the city. Pricey. Nothing. nothing but the wife didn't like the pillows I thought there were fine. N/A. Too expensive !!! $500 dlls per night !!!. Paying for parking; however, we found local vender on own and happily walked. No safe in room for storage of valuables. lack of character. Housekeeping a bit too slow. They didn't look up from the desk when you came up to the desk right away. And the greeting was a bit sad. No complimentary continental breakfast. The price for parking, the taxes. Breakfast bistro could be improved substantially. No kettle for making a cup of tea and lack of fridge. No restaurant or bar. Noisy and exposed room. Hardly any facilities. Room is quite old but comfortable. Rooms run-down, old carpet and curtains, poor climate controls, odors, elevators dirty. Don't offer free parking. To much price for what it is...
