I found the staff to be very accommodating. The atmosphere was inviting and chic. Our room was very comfortable. All in all I was very pleased. Stayed there a number of times, so they upgraded my room; easy checkout. Clients love the bar.The staff is super friendly. Location, Room, Staff. perfect room and atmosphere, very stylish throughout, excellent staff support and helpfulness.

Pillows too thick but thats a problem in many hotels. they charge for everyhing. breakfast not included, 1 liter bottle of water in the room cost $11 !!!!!. $300 minimum for tables at the Redwood Room for guests is ridiculous. We would have racked up a respectable bill but had to take our buisness elsewhere... On check in we were offered a larger room for an extra $75 a night. We would have like to have seen the difference between the rooms before we accepted. 5 minute International phone call cost $32. What a joke!. Even though I had a confirmed and paid booking and I informed them thatI'd be arriving in sfo in a late flight .When I arrived my room wasalready occupied . They afterwards confessed they have an overbookingpolicy. They did compesate me for this and credited for the first nightI had to stay at another Hotel. Tough after 15 hours flying. Helpfulpeople, nice Hotel but better try to check in early. We do not like the decor of the Clift now.Bathroom was quite small. It was also very noisy in the early morning due to thin walls, banging doors and the chambermaid also started hoovering early. they charge for 24h parking 80usd, when one block from the hotel the parking garage is 24$ for 24h.
