  I loved the room I had. It was the "04" room. It was my second time staying at this hotel. Both times I was lucky enough to be in the same room layout. As I walked down the hall toward my room this time I was trying to not hope that it was the same room so that I wouldn't be disappointed. Wow, was I happy. The room is full of sunlight and is ... what people say » well arranged. I love it. The staff was amazing. Very helpful and proactive. - The location was great. The trolley is just out the door, and they are many shops and restaurants very close by. The staff was great. The room rate ($129) was exceptional, but probably not near the standard rate. Nice new or newly renovated hotel.

  This was by far the best hotel we have found in San Diego. Luxury for a very reasonable price! The staff was wonderful, our room was fantastic, (corner king), the food was good (pulled pork was best I've had in ages!), and the views were gorgeous. I loved how close it was to so many areas of SD. The pool area (with the firepits at night!) looked wonderful, but it was so windy so we didn't stay. I also loved the old pictures throughout the hotel. If you are from SD it was particularly super to see them.

  I can't find fault with anything. They were extremely accomodating and the staff was so lovely. Everyone. Housekeeping, front desk, restaurants. A lovely place to stay. - Hotel and amenities are excellent. Beautiful lush gardens with a great pool & hottub area. Clean and very nicely taken care of. I would definitely recommend it.

  The rooms were really nice and the beds were super comfortable. Staff was very friendly. The on-site gym was under repair during my visit but they provided guest aces to the YMCA gym just around the corner. ironically that was one of the highlights of my trip as the Y had one of the best retired weight rooms I have seen in a long time. - ... what people say » On calling manager regarding problems with room he quickly had the room with king size cleaned and made available. Complimentary drinks and snacks in bar until room ready. Complimentary breakfasts for two days. Problem with toilet on third day repaired straight away. Staff very courteous and friendly.
