Excellent location, especially if you're driving: right off the freeway, yet walking distance to Downtown and Gaslamp, also just a short bus ride to Balboa Park (#7). Comfortable room with modern facilities. All clean. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Free car park (space was a little tight, but managed excellently by the staff) and Wi-Fi (in-room coverage not superb but possible to use). The room was spacious and clean and the bed was very comfortable. The TV was modern, sound and picture good. There was a small table so I was able to work for several hours quite comfortably. I observed at least a half-dozen fast food restaurants and one upscale restaurant and a couple of take-outs, all within a half-dozen blocks. The heart of downtown San Diego is within 15 minutes walking distance.
Good location in the city center, if you like walking you can go up to the zoo or downtown to the Midway.
Good value price for young people looking for a cheap accomodation.

Some noise from other guests could be heard (this was perhaps because of full occupancy at the time we stayed there, and is typical with most motels in such circumstances). One or two towels should probably be disposed of due to unwashable stains or wear.
With busy streets all around it was a bit noisy in the rush hours, but one rather expects that, so I do not consider it a defect.

everything else. They were rude(owners). check-out was at 11.00 and they called my room at 10.00 saying we needed to go now. Ive got bits on one leg from fleas?I wore my pants to bed.Im extremly allergic to fleas.We were very clean and didnt disturb anyone. what was their proublem?.
The facility itself was extremely dirty. My friend and I went to lay on the bed only to find out it smelled like body odor. There was no iron, blow dryer, nothing. There were however lots and lots of nats! We didn't even shower there because we were afraid of getting fungus.
Noise, a road is just in front of the loge.
Everything in the room was old, even the bed spread had hols on it. The
