The staff was friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable (also helpful). I was given a room on the top floor when I complained about the noisy people above me that kept me and my grand daughter awake all one night. The hard beds were made softer so I could rest better. I was impressed with the cleanliness and good repair of what appears may be an older facility. The price was great! Fantastic location. Very short walk to city center and free parking. Free breakfast included cereals, bagels and two fruits. Pool was small but adequate. Just a suggestion - there is a thin, flexible soundproofing material that could be put under the carpets of each room to make each room quieter. Pool is small, checkout took 15 min. the bed in our room had a roll spot the side closest to the bathroom, when I laid on my back it had a low spot & made me roll toward the other side of the bed, I had to sleep more in the middle to b able to lie flathubby & I cuddled so we fixed that problem. I didn't appreciate that we had to pay twice the price of the room on the 4th night just because of a conference in town. We were there for medical reasons (University Hospital) . The facilities are a little bit old. Breakfast is too simple with no choices. Nothing, everything ok. Nothing really; just what you'd expect from a motel in town. They charged me different price as I booked but they corrected after I told them. Dated facility, substandard breakfast by today's standards, small dining area. Nothing healthy. too simple breakfast. the day desk clerk and the night desk clerk, very rude !. dirty carpet. outside entrance very noisy TV channel selection is poor. Noisy people, with very thin walls. Could hear the person next to us snore all night. Not very clean in my room. the internet site mention that that the room occupancy is for 5. When we arrive, we have been told that the room booked was for four max occupancy. We had to pay an upgrade for a studio. But we were lucky, there a was a free studio. Poor Internet and one major reason I chose and felt defrauded. Also it looked a lot nicer and better class online than in reality. I'd have cancelled but they would have not refund me and other nicer Hotels nearby were sold out by then. Extremely disappointed. . . Bed was a little less than desirable. Hallways were very noisy.
