  Staff was attentive and accommodating. Breakfast was great, pool enjoyable for kids. Having a suite instead of room invaluable with toddlers. Rooms recently redecorated.

  The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The shuttle to and from the Excel Center was an extra perk we had not planned on. - They were very nice and helpful. I like the location right next to the capital.

  I loved the room size. The extra space of the suite was really nice. It was good to have other sitting options than just on the bed. Also the style of the room. How they kept some of the original structure of the building and added it into the design of the room. - Pleasant staff. Loved architecture and "mood."   The staff at the front desk are very welcoming and helpful. A problem with the room was quickly remedied. The location was near the Capitol Building and other attractions and was easy to get into and out of for a downtown hotel. The room, though small, was pleasant and the bed was great. I liked the shower as well. The bathroom was first class. Old charm with modern feel - the best of both worlds. Very convenient to get to local attractions and restaurants - it is right on the skyway system. I will definitely stay here the next time I have an event in St. Paul.
