Our room was comfortable and well-appointed. Everything was immaculate and the beds were excellent. The hotel was very quiet and clean. We arrived in our room to find that a small bit of plaster had fallen from the ceiling after a heavy rain the previous night. We alerted the front desk and everything was fixed by the time we returned to the room a few hours later. We have stayed at several places in/near St. Augustine and this was by far the best and the best value for money.
all reviews » We loved the location and the comfort of the room. We also were very impressed with the breakfast buffet. We especially liked the fact that it was close to the St. Augustine Outlets. We really enjoyed our stay and we look forward to returning. We were welcomed by the kindest employees and were able to ask the questions we had about the town. The rooms were SPOTLESS and very spacious. If we ever make it back to St. Augustine we will be staying here again. Wonderful experience. This hotel is ideally positioned for a visit to St Augustine. It was excellent value for money and particular mention should be made about the really comfortable beds, the cleanliness and the great breakfast. Give it a try!!. Nice...new hotel. Inside pool. The only issue was that the bathroom drain was slow. A minor issue. The fitness gym could really use an upgrade. The stationary bike didn't have straps on the peddles and there was no elliptical or anything besides a treadmill. Nothing but chose the location as we were en route to Orlando not because we were visiting St Augustine but it was still close to the town and we were able to visit. Nothing. Housekeeping forgot to leave a soap for the sink. Access was difficult. had to do u-turn down the highway to enter hotel. no smoking rooms available. A bit too far away from downtown. none. My booking price was $236 for two night but it ended up being $259, Not sure if it was just tax or what. Bad coffee. Breakfast selection, very poor......went to dunkin donuts near by!. Not so close to the old town. Breakfast was just OK. Bananas were the only really healthy option. Wifi and cable down with small storm. Wifi was super slow. Milk at breakfast was sour/off. Less choice at breakfast than I'd hoped for. The price for the room. Cannot sleep because individual room air conditioning unit was very loud and started up many times during the night. The breakfast was a little let down my plastic plates and cutlery. Try spreading frozen butter onto something with a plastic knife! We were surprised that the pool was indoor (this is a sunny place!). Amanda was not friendly and gave me trouble about checking in 45 minutes early. Probably won't stay there again. First time we stayed, it was much friendlier.
