  It was very close to the fest grounds, we visited for the german fest. There was a shuttle service by bus that left every 15 minutes and the cost was only $3.00 round trip per person.   Great staff, free breakfast, rooms were clean. The double King room was big enough for all four of us and our motorcycle gear/luggage! Extra sink was nice, as was the table and chair at the end of the room. Hot breakfast was nice too, cafe area was a little dated but worked out great.   i liked how clean my room (117) was. i walked into my room and it didn't stink like a motel 6 room typicaly does. there were no damages done to the room, no holes in the wall, no cracks in the glass or onn the mirrior. the showerhead was also above expectation. i don't expect to find a 7 setting showerhead in a budget friendly hotel. the microwave... what people say » and mini fridge were perfect for what we needed and we were able to stoar and cook all of our food. - Was able to check in before three even though we could not get our room. At least we had a key because we knew it would be late at night when we returned.

  we like everything.. staff actually knew who the customer was and how to treat customers. clean and the nicest hotel I have been in in years. nicest staff ever.... good value - The staff were fantastic!   The hotel lies next to Harbour with day round fishing by the locals. When the season is right you can see large fish jumping from the water. Another nice touch is they have a little store near the front desk with snack foods;chips,cookies and even some cheese curds and some wine/alcohol for sale(they can't sell it until 9 PM though-state law).
