  The hotel is lovely, nice rooms, comfy bed. They gave us a complimentary room upgrade for our honeymoon. They are renovating at the moment so I imagine it will be more modern look in the future. She was very generous with her time, information about the area and booked a lava walk tour for us. It's a motherly touch that a large resort cannot replicated (which I stayed at before arriving at Lava Tree). It's something so small as that that can change your entire vacation and make it bettter. It’s located in a beautiful quiet garden and close to the volcano park. We stayed for one night only, but sincerely hope to return for a longer stay. The owner is a very nice person who pays attention to the small details.

  This is a perfect domestic house! Maureen and Dean are kindness and wonderful people. Every day's handmade breakfast has been fresh and tasty. There is the magic welcoming atmosphere inside the house and on the Ireland. Maureen's house is very beautiful with the charming rooms and the garden around the house. Absolutely recomend this B&B and if I go again to big island I definitely return here.
