The location was great for access to Volcano National Park. The tour of the on-site lava tube was great. The setting was beautiful. Breakfast first day seemed kind of limited for kids but realized Shannon thought is was for two adults. Once she found out I was traveling with my daughter she put out "kid-friendly" options. Very, very responsive. -

Maureen is a splendid host, always give you tips of what you can do on the island and make you feel like you are at home, vey cozy place!!!. The room was good and the best of all is the comfortable bed.
It's near to the airport but not close enough to hear the planes and you have a beach at 1 block that you can swim with turtles.
Absolutely recomend this B&B and if I go again to big island I definitely return here.

Perfect re-treat from city life and a great base from which to visit the Volcano National Park and Hilo areas. A phone call to the staff provided the code to the key lock box. There was no other contact with staff. The cottage was once a private residence with a beautiful, secluded lot and every comfort of home.
