  The staff went above and beyond to provide me excellent service. I received some breakfast coupons (b/c I had switched from a non- smoking to a smoking room), but could not use them because I had work conference calls in the morning. I went to the reception in an attempt to change them over to lunch vouchers, and the representative understood my s... what people say » ituation and replaced the breakfast voucher for lunch ones. Kudos to the staff! - Beautiful and very pleasant. Everyone was so helpful. Bell men took care of us very well. I wish I had gotten their names but unfortunately I failed to get the names. We plan on putting Austin as our yearly vacation with our grandchildren.

  We stayed for 5 nights which gave us the opportuniy to use most of the excellent facilities at the hotel. We ate in the Restaurant a few times,had snacks in the Bar and always ended the day with a Cocktail back at the hotel. What sets this hotel apart is the amazing staff, the Reception, Concierge, Bar Staff, Restaurant Staff to the Girls in Bliss... what people say » nothing was too much trouble. Just a special mention for the concierge who arranged Ice Hockey tickets at the American Airlines Center and transport - I liked my room, and in particular the chaise lounge. The gym was well above the typical hotel gym. Fernando, the bartender, was friendly, kind and attentive. I had a wonderful stay at the W Dallas

  I've stayed at many highly rated hotels in San Antonio, and Mokara is unquestionably at the top of my list. It starts with superior service - over the top attention to detail. We were walked to the elevator during check-in by a member of the desk staff, and later - accompanied by a doorman down to the riverwalk level of the hotel as he provided us... what people say » with food and drink suggestions.   Waterpark: fun, music was great and very family oriented Hotel: beautiful, loved the sports Restraunt, location, and our favorite was the roof top family fun and fireworks - Love the Gaylord in general. I have been to this one and the one in Nashville over the last 20-25 years.
