  We loved everything. We have stayed at several large and boutique hotels on the Gold Coast and the Peninsula is probably the best across the board. I have a difficult last name, but all of the staff immediately remembered it and also pronounced it correctly. - The location couldn't have been more convenient!   We traveled with an 8 year old. The room even with a rollaway bed was very large. The city/lake view was great.   The staff was extremely helpful. Since the moment we arrived to until our last minute there we felt welcome. Especially Nabeel and Jared were very kind and gave us a lot of great tips about what to do and where to go in Chicago.   The matress on our bed was so comfortable that we actually asked at the front desk how we could get one for at home. The staff was super friendly and the room was fantastic. We will definitely be staying there again in the future! - We liked everything about it. Quiet for sleeping and delicious food happy staff just a wonderful two days.
