Food: the 'Bistro' is not promoted as gourmet (and it isn't) but what it offers is adequate and good.
Service: the place is car-oriented whereas we were travelling by train. They were ready with van service etc very helpfully. -

I liked the coziness of the Inn. The room was very nice and my window overlooked the Main Street which was very quaint. Breakfast was excellent. Staff very nice. -
Location ideal for an academic visit to Wesleyan.
Good access to downtown shops and restaurants.
Dining room remained open past 10 pm, which was a big help.

The hotel was huge and very nicely decorated, both in the reception area
and in the rooms. There were actual birds in the lobby, not sure if they
were supposed to be there or squatting, but I thought they were cute.
