The staff was excellent. Not just the front desk staff but the housekeepers as well as the manager who was willing to make a few special adjustments for my kids @ the pool. The kitchen was great especially being a mom ( kids eat and drink around the clock) so I was able to do a quick snack. I even booked for my next trip in June. Overall it felt like a compact apartment which is great for a family vacation or a business trip.
all reviews » The staff and housekeeping staff were awesome and friendly! Room was clean and mini kitchen clean with kitchen supplies. The check in lady printed us directions to Pensacola Beach and Perdido Key Beach without us asking. Very friendly and will make this our hotel in the future. It is in a good location if you want to go to both beaches and the Naval Base to go to the Museums. 100% Happy!!!. I loved that it was literally 5 minutes away from the Naval Air Station that my son is stationed at. The rooms were great and the pools were a wonderful time for my kids. Lots of restaurants around to dine at. Just about 15 to 20 minutes away from the white sand beaches. The friendly staff was great! Loved the option of using an indoor or outdoor pool - great for not knowing what the weather will be!!! They seem to strive to keep the hotel nice looking and clean, both inside and out. The place itself was very nice. The pictures on the internet do not do it justice. Staff very nice and friendly. Room was clean and nice. Bed comfortable. Always had fresh towels. This was a surprise hotel. Last year we stayed at a Micro Inn and the standards there were not close to the Aston Inn. I plan on making this my destination when I come down. We had one of the best rooms since we have been with letsbookhotel.com. All the staff was awesome!!! The maintenance guy!! Was true to Ashton Inn. Way to go!. The staff was super friendly! Perfect location to visit son at Corry Station. Solid value. Very nice sitting area to enjoy morning coffee and the newspaper. what I liked about it had a full refrigerator , mini stove, microwave and sink. Next to the pool they have a basketball area the kids enjoyed that!. I liked the fact you were so close to the Navy Base. Our Son has been stationed there for the next 18 months. We will be returning!. room was well equiped, indoor pool saved inclemant weather days, location was central to activities but quiet for a main road site. Staff was very helpful... Front desk allowed us to check in an hour before check in! Plenty of shopping locations close to hotel. There was one staff member who was exceptionally friendly. I don't remember her name, she was at the desk when I checked in. Everything was clean and well kept. The indoor pool was perfect for my grandson to visit us. We were very pleased. staff was outstanding, location perfect for visiting our son in the navy at corey station. safe. Priced well !. The Staff were very friendly even those we had 10 with us, they assist us with anything with ask for,. The room was very comfortable. The staff especially front desk personnel were great. we check in and it was A very easy proceess even with it being labor day weekend.. The entry way and breakfast to-go area was done up really nice like they were just redone. The location was decent for not being on the beach. Extremely friendly staff at the front desk! And I'm glad that their was no smoking in the rooms. Strong shower pressure but slow drain :(. Really cheap. nothing. Nothing!! 100% Hapy!!. Just offering a continental breakfast was very disappointing! I would think for what you are paying for a room they would have a somewhat more expanded breakfast as other places for similar cost. Coffee, muffins, and Danish was not what I want to feed my family, kids especially. The breakfast could have been a little more expanded other than just prepackaged muffins..but not a major factor. I wish it was closer to the beach, but for the price it was good. No complaints. Hotel did have a musty smell but probably more of the Pensacola humidity than neglect of the hotel. the room carpet needs to be cleaned and I saw small cockroach in the bathroom sink. When we walked into our room it smelled liked musty. Like the carpets had been cleaned and never dried out. Other then that all was good!. Kitchen was a little under stocked. I would like to a comfortable place (outside) for smokers. A covered area with tables and chairs. Towels ! Thin, wimpy, inadequate, impotent, good for nothing poor quality! Had the towels been better I would rate the hotel all 10's. My wife works for Marriott. You ranked right up there till it came to the TOWELS. they did have enough pots. Key card didn't work and I had to go from building two back to the front desk to get an additional key so I could get into my room. I found two small roaches in my room but room was very clean not sure they came from. the indoor pool area was not air conditioned - too hot to swim inside. Carpet throughout inn looked like there were many stains, perhaps pet stains. Probably should replace carpet with tile so it can be wiped up without staining. Our air conditioner didn't work. Nothing. Just in a super busy area. The pool was closed most of the time we were there. Indoor Pool Was Filthy. Bugs, Hair And Other Things Floating And A Lot Of Dirt/Sand On The Bottom. The Main Drain Cover Was Broken Which Could Allow Someone To Become Entangled On The Bottom Of The Pool, A Very Serious Safety Hazard. Not as updated but no complaints because price met the accomodations. I thought the rooms were nicer in the pictures, the mattresses were the worst I have ever slept on in a hotel. The bathrooms really needed to be redone. Wish the sheets and pillowcases had been changed at least once during our week stay. I did not like that the hotel was three separate buildings, instead of one. Which meant that you had to leave the building in order to access the front desk. The confirmation number didn't show on my email, Beds were firm, but also Hard surfaced - not comfortable. "Breakfast." Terrible. Muffins and icky pastries, nothing else. Inedible. And miniscule pieces of cheap soap in the bathroom. I was locaed near a side exit door that was used throughout the night. The autoclosing mechanism sounded like a small calliber gun shot and i was wokenup each time it was used. Only complaint!. They took the desk out of the room on day 2 of our stay so the kids had nowhere to sit and eat!! Room was musty and not as clean as I would have expected, lots of loiterers late at night!. Room had a funny smell. It smelled like urine in the hallway!!!. No fork and knives Poor breakfast less stuff just coffee and some cookies. The room was not clean. The sheets looked like they were not changed, they were wrinkled and with some paint. I did not leave immediately because I arrived at 1o'clock am and it was too late to go out and look for another hotel in a spring break weekend. Nothing. The smell is awfull! Everything is so old. Furniture scratched and very very old. Will never go back.... Never. Bugs in the room. Cockroaches the size of my thumb. Internet didn't work for the whole trip. Non-guests kept driving up for the pool with coolers of beer. Not the crowd I wished for my 3 yr old. Neighborhood is the pits. Staff unresponsive. not clean tub didn'T drain water pressure non existent. No tv that worked. I called the front desk and I was told it would fixed or replaced the next morning it never happen. The rooms smell like mold and old. All air vents very dirty. Towels were old and stained.
