The manager is a really nice and friendly guy. The rooms are set around the pool, so I had a beautiful view of the pool and mountains from my window. There could have been courtyard / pool noise, but it was very quiet when I stayed. The room had great aesthetics (ie was pleasant to be in) and I felt it was safe to sleep with my window wide open for fresh air (I hate air-conditioning, and it's hot in Palm Springs). all reviews » This is our 3rd stay. Front Desk Manager Vivek is always very customer service oriented. He remembers us. Hotel has a great location with a little liquor store around the corner, which is good if you want to get a morning coffee. Hotel is a short distance from downtown Palm Springs, but away from the noise. Room is big and clean. Bathroom is remodeled, all white with a window. Friendly and helpful reception. Parking right outside of my room! I wish I had of been told not to place my room pass key next to my cell phone or credit card!!! At 11:00pm, 43 degrees, I coldn't access the outside gate and had to go to the office to get a new one!!! I was one unhappy (and, cold) guest!. I stay here very often it seems anymore. The value is what turned me on to this place. Then the accommodations are nice, clean and comfortable. The staff also is very helpful and friendly. Came with friends this time and asked if we could all be in the same area and Vivik came through for me. I like soft cozy bed, extremely soft, silky bedsheets (I felt like sleeping, sleeping and do not get out of bed), very safe , well-maintained place, convenient location on S Palm Canyon Dr-close to all the restaurants & galleries. The bed was soft, there was extra pillows. Tout est correct pour le prix. Location. location. Nothing. Hotel is older, but comfortable especially when you spend a lot of time outside the hotel. We would stay again. The toilet in my room has some sort of leak and every few minutes would go on for 30 or so seconds to re-fill. Annoying. Just needs a plumber. A couple of guests were a little on the shady side -- i.e. smoking pot & having alot of visitors but that's not the hotel's fault. There was a small roach in restroom but it was due to the window being open. Rooms are old so the tile in the bathroom is showing age but it is a budget hotel. No large flat screen tv or DVD player. Internet would be nice if faster for streaming Netflix etc. n/a. Wifi was very ordinary, dropping out continually unless you moved towards the reception area. Nothing. I preferred a room downstairs, but there wasn't one available, but I enjoyed my stay. No safe. Computer access. Air conditioner vent was broken. Simple things could be fixed: Toilet top has broken/missing piece; Shower handles bad, not matching, shower head needs replacement; ridiculous tiny nob on closet door -- put a real nob on please!. No spare blankets so we were cold. No coffee in room. Paint the rusty/moldy frame around the bathroom window!! Fix these little details and you will have a pleasant little budget friendly motel!. Had 3 lights that didn't work, one sink that didn't pump out enough water, only 1 guy in office that was either a hit or miss to be found. People working at the desk weren't very friendly. The bathroom needs a cabinet or a place to set things. walked into town mile&half bit late coming no street lighting (not recommended). Rooms need to be updated. The electical outlets are so old and worn that when you plug in a cord it falls out. Maybe another use for duct tape?. House keeping need series change (hair more people). Door was very dirty. Bad airco ... Way to hot in the room. College age Spa users incredibly loud 3-5 am, no management on site to complain to, Told anagement next day and they said we should have called police, but they did apologize. Refrigerator had an out of order sign but still almost as noisy as spa users. Place is pretty run down. Not much sleep to had.this night. The shower door wouldn't close. The wood work needed repaired. Over-powering smell of room deodorizers permeated the entire complex. Appliances were in need of repair as well as furniture in the room. Spa was maintained at a cool temperature. There was no towels in our room, when we did get towels they had a bad smell of chlorine, The room was dusty and needed a good cleaning. the bath tub was dirty. Outside looked like a hotel on skid row. La chambre a besoin d'être rafraichie. The ac sucks. I will never ever recomend to anyone. Imagine 101 degree with poor ac quality. This is the worst place to survive a night. You shld be a knight to stay knights inn palm spring. Room was old, needed updating, worst hotel room we have ever stayed in!. Dirty.
