  On arrival we were told we had been upgraded to a larger room with a refrigerator. When we got to the room we discovered there were no lights installed. We called Reception and they sent someone up. He said the room should not have been used and offered to move us but we asked him just to bring some portable lights as we had already unpacked. ... what people say » This he did. About 30 minutes later my partner decided to have a shower and the water control handle came off in his hand. We decided to go to Recep - Location to Convention Center was great because you could avoid traffic on International Drive. Rooms were clean and quiet. Pool and pool bar were exceptional and staff at the pool bar were friendly and great to talk to.

  I was really surprised at the size and amenities of the room for its price; I was expecting much less. The room was absurdly large with a sleeper couch, two televisions, and a mini kitchen equipped with a microwave and refrigerator (both of which we used). We had a situation with Florida express shuttle where we had major problems with getting picked up over a period of 3 hours. She tried many times to phone express shuttle to try and fix the problem. She couldn't do enough for us in the situation we were in.

  The hotel is quite close to the airport thus it is a good choice for a "transit hotel". When you arrive at the Orlando Airport you need to Terminal b to the Transportation Floor and find the free phone kiosk and let the Hotel staff know that you arrived and need the shuttle bus to be sent for you. Bare in mind that you pay $40/night and you get free transportation from/to Orlando Airport (mco) then you get a spacious room a good show - We just needed a clean, safe place to spend a night between flights, and this fit the bill. The Chinese resturant the recommended modified a dish to accommodate my dietary restrictions and delivered 2 piping hot meal for us. The refrigerator and microwave in the room allowed us to eat the leftovers for breakfast. My Mom liked the waffle she had at the complementary continental breakfast. The shuttle to and from the airport was qick and efficient.
