all reviews » One of the most beautiful hotels we have ever stayed at. It was super clean, staff was extremely friendly and very efficient, rooms were spotless, comfortable and well decorated. We had a fabulous nights rest in the super comfy beds. The pool area is spectacular and very family friendly. And the ducks were so fun and memorable. We loved everything about our stay here and didn't want to leave. This is our go to hotel whenever we are in Orlando. We can't say enough wonderful things about the P. All restaurants were more than accomodating to our vegan diet. Even the Italian Steakhouse went above and beyond to make sure we had the most wonderful meals! The beds were very comfortable, too. We upgraded to the Club level. Well worth the extra $45.00/day as it included parking and breakfast and early evening snacks, desserts, etc. Beautiful hotel...room was spacious....LOVE The tv in the mirror! We tipped at the restaurant and then found that the gratuity was added to our bill as well. extremely very busy...cars etc. There is a helicopter tour that circles the pool hotel constantly and you feel like you are next to an airport. Very loud and annoying. nothing!. I wish I had planned to stay longer. The refrigerator wasn't cool. The ice maker near my room never worked, complained to a staff member in the morning, it's still not fixed at night. I felt that prices at the pool bar and at the Rocks bar were extremely high, and for no reason at all. My boyfriend and I ordered two drinks at the poolside bar which came to $30. I thought that was absolutely outrageous. The high drink prices made it hard to hangout by the pool for a long period of time without going well over our budget. We ended up spending a majority of our days at other facilities because we knew their prices were cheaper. We all would like to spend less money but it was worth it. The air conditioning was weak and surprisingly so for a Florida hotel. We had on full blast the full time we were there and we never got cold. Honestly nothing a great hotel!!. Valet parking very high price. There are no exhaust fans in the bathroom and mirrors fog up. Bathroom is not large enough to have a full door open to the inside, it should have a pocket door. Rooms need a microwave oven. Could not receive Spanish channel in the tv. I asked for a vodka tonic and was given a vodka with club soda--didn't discover till I was in my room. Carpaggio service was so/so and food overpriced. Game room for the kids would be nice or a gaming system in the rooms. Only negative for us was check in was exceptionally busy but the staff were very good at trying to keep everyone patient!. too many extra hidden charges and extra fees. Prior to my arrival I asked the hotel if it is possible to send several packages on my name to the hotel address. Hotel approved and did not notify me that there is a minimum handling fee of 5$ per package. When I arrived, I was surprised to hear about this fee. At the end, Hotel representative agrreed that I'd pay a total fee of 5$ for all packages. Very crowded at check out, long wait for valet to bring car. Also, our schedule prevented us from seeing the ducks!. Just weather was not so great, but hotel can not influence this :-). We were unable to check in at the time given to us. Our baggage was held and they called when ready but it was still a big inconvenience and cut into our plans. No grits in the hotel, I had to go to the Rosen for breakfast. original hotel rooms not the best layout closet cramped bath too small. n/a. Anything you buy from the restaurants or bars was extremely expensive. Drinks at the bar were very expensive and light on the alcohol. Very big facility. little pricey, offset by the quality. The waitstaff in the bar while they were nice never smiled. Everyone of them walked around almost with a frown on their face everynight. The cleaning....we found a dirty pillow case and a sponge in the room. Extra charges such as valet parking($26,00) per day. No balconies. Additional $20/day charge for minifridge and microwave. The staff keep opening the room door while I'm greeting dress in the morning. paying extra to park.
