Everything. Great price, great location. Room was very nice. Bathroom and kitchenette were doable but they could of used some updating in our room. Had a great stay and hope to go back soon. I enjoyed the ameneties in the room. Full size fridge, stove, microwave. The restaurant was very reasonable. The overall experience was an 8 out of 10. The staff was EXCELLANT. We liked the ocean front room, the kitchenette, the fact that it had 1 1/2 baths, and the restaurant on the 2nd floor. Every one was friendly and very helpful!.
all reviews » Our room was newly remodeled, clean and comfortable. We had fantastic views of the beach from our suite. My husband and I are already planning our return!. The location was great to be on the beach. Also plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Having a little kitchen in our room came in very handy. it was great the moment we opened the door it was great the beach view from the balcony was awesome will definetly go again. Staff are very accomodating and friendly. They share and recommend places based on their experiences and opinions. nice . good spot near everything. good view of the ocean even though our room was not ocean front. Room was clean. The location was great because it was close to the boardwalk, but not on the boardwalk. The kids loved the pools. Very enjoyable trip, was very pleased with the motel and it availability to both the beach and boardwalk. The configuration of the bath areas with the additional toilet. Indoor pool and outdoor pool. Hotel was right on the beach. Ample parking, not too far from the boardwalk. I liked the location, pool, sauna area and hotel style of room. 2 pools. Great view. Ocean City is a little busier than we like but made the best of it. None!. Coffee pot in room was broken. Smoking rooms were too close to non smoking so when guest were on the balcony smoking the smell would travel to your balcony. Some of the people smoking were working at the hotel. They were standing out on the balcony. The hot tub was permanently shut down, the kiddie pool was closed. The hotel was a little run down for the price I paid. Our room was very nice though. We had a corner suite, which I was very happy with. The clientele at oc, md in gerenal was very young/rough. They seem to target very young adults. The boardwalk was not a very good place to take children. Housekeeping did not come in and straighten up or make beds? We left early morning and did not return until late afternoon but the room had not been touched. thing needed to be updated. Room was dated. The couch/pull out bed was dirty. Small Bathroom. The cable for the TV was not connected. On our second day our room key would not work and had to wait for someone to come unlock the door. View from room wasn't as described when we booked the room. Housekeeping wasn't great. We had to wait for clean towels one day till 4:30pm. Room wasn't vacuumed at all during the week at the beach. The price was too high. No continental breakfast, considering the price. you know. if i did not go up front desk to turn in the door keys. .i would gotten charged a tax fee which i thought was paid when i checked in. i even asked if all was taken care of then and i told that it. the appliance and the bathroom were really old. Room needs update. Bathroom counter base coming apart. Carpet pulling away from walls. Hot tub not working at all!!. Maid service didnt come to r room 2 make beds and clean room. When returned to r and it wasnt done we called the front desk an d were told house keeping left for the day and we could come to desk if we needed towels etc. We were not happy with that. Not knowing if the bed spreads are cleaned regularly. Staff rude, pool not clean, rooms very small, didn't clean room and was very under staffed and when did didn't clean or vacuum rooms just made bed to a point. Also front desk staff rude had to ask to have room cleaned on several days... Way over charged. the room, hotel & staff were very nice, friendly & accommodating. we just didn't know we were there before the season officially started (memorial day weekend). old building. The sofa in our room was worn to the point when you sat in it, you sank in a hole. Trying to sleep in it was awful. Also, we stayed on the 3rd and overlooked where the indoor pool was. The glasshouse was filthy looking People's beach towels had blown on to the glass looking very messy .dirty. Housekeeping didn't come yo our room until almost 5 pm. Stayed at QA 54th street last month much and it was more updated and clean. During this stay, the bathroom was old and needed a good cleaning. Sink was cracked and had cracks in the floor tile. The receptacles in the room and bathroom were loose and old. Kitchen was low on utensils and such. No cork screw...had to take bottle of wine down to front desk to be opened. We chose this hotel because of the indoor pool and hot tub. When we went to use the hot tub it was boarded up. A member of the staff said it had not worked in years. But it's advertised as having a working hot tub. I was on my anniversary and really was looking forward to the hot tub. Wifi did not work either!. Sand around rinse off shower near hotel needed to be swept. Should be done daily. Smoke smell on non-smoking floor. Pull out couch had tons of crumbs under the cusions, the entrance and bathroom tile floors were so sticky I used up 3 towells cleaning them (maid service not available), electrical outlet near bed was loose and lights and alarm flashed on and off; entire facility is in need of maintenance - looks like someone must be losing money on it and it's going down slowly. They need to improve on the maintenance inside the hotel Most of the games in the game room did not work and we wasted a lot of money on the machines. Housekeeping can be improved as well. It was a waste of money! Our bathroom was rusted and dirty! The tiles In the bathroom were missing everything was outdated. Check in was supposed to be at 4 but they didn't check me in until 5:30 and next day check out was at 11 I paid 400 dollars for barley 12 hours. It was so dirty I counldnt wait to get out of there! Even the chairs outside we're rusted and old. The staff wasn't at all friendly. Only the maintenance man was great. Wouldn't recommend this place at all. Hair in shower was not mine. Refrigerator door handle held on with tape. The room smelled odd and the bathroom was not clean enough for me and the toilet seat was loose they neeed to update the bathroom grout and clean the floor better. ...and absolutely NOTHING else. This was an overpriced fleabag! The ratty screen door was not even on the door, and the bottom of the screen was detached. Unfriendly, condescending staff. Dated Room. Double charge for a room now I have to wait to get my money back. Facilities were run down. The spa's didn't work. Initial room was small and dirty, I complained and was upgraded to nicer/ cleaner room(only after arguing with staff and needing to speak with management). Room 2 hour late for check in. Outdoor Pool was out of service and in horrific shape. Bed pillows were very flimsy. There was an odor of smoke in hallways. Lobby area was outdated. It was filthy and gross we left this hotel and stayed else where. Cleanliness of the room was very poor...missing ceiling tiles in kitchen and bath....found the shredded tiles in the closet...wires exposed from under dishwasher onto floor....Room appeared nothing like the updated room shown online... It was dirty, smelly, needed updating, and costly for what I got. Very disappointing. We tried to spend as little time in the room as possible. The air-conditioning and refrigerator were so loud kept me up also found sand and dirt in corners of the bathrooms. Room was not ready by check in time. House keeping did not do there job the rm was very dirty. And we check out early will never stay again.
