I truly enjoy my stay at the Roosevelt. I loved the turn down service. Everything about our stay was fantastic. I would stay at the Roosevelt again in a heart beat. I wish I could have stayed longer. My favorite New Orleans hotel. You feel the luxury the moment you step through the front door. The service is excellent and it offers all the amenities you could want. Loved everything about the Roosevelt!!! The atmosphere, the food, the service, the room, what more can I say! Best hotel we have ever stayed at!!.
all reviews » Old world charm. Excellent location just on the cusp of the French quarter and great transport and tourist icons close by. The atmosphere in itself is amusing. We were going to drink the champagne in there for our first anniversary but when we opened the fridge it smelled very badly then we found the rotten/molded food. Inattentiveness of reception staff. I expected more for the money that was paid. The amenities did not live up to my expectations. The bathroom was large but lacked many of the luxuries that I expected. It also lacked some of the basics that are customary in lesser priced rooms. The main room was large but lacked space for suitcases and personal items. Small room. I was very displeased that Wifi was $15/day. I think at $300+/night they could include this free of charge. The staff at the bar. not really a complaint but you could not find my Hilton Honors number which is 157945883. We went for our anniversary and my birthday day the hotel had this on our reservations and when we checked in they were rude no information on how to get to room were it is or were to park and no congratulations this was the place I have ever stayed in my life and got nothing they may be good place to stay for a business meeting. Fairly outrageous price. I live in London, travel widely and stay in many hotels in Europe and USA. Nice hotel and facilities but too expensive in comparison to equivalent hotels. The room.
