The staff was great. Very helpful in my planning my day. Very friendly and enjoyable to just talk too. They knew great places to eat and see. The hotel is in a good location. Close to the things I wanted to see and transportation. The hotel prices are affordable for people on a budget. I enjoyed my stay. I will be back. The staff at the front desk were very helpful and lovely wanting to make sure you have a nice time. They helped us book tours and we took there advice and were not dissappointed.The breakfast was good and the dining room was always clean.

I came to New Orleans for a conference for work and stayed a few extra nights to take in the New Orleans culture, so the location to both the conference and the life of New Orleans was perfect!. I loved the free breakfast and the smoking rooms allowed me to be able to smoke inside without having to go outside in the cold. I got a great night's sleep in a great hotel. I would definitely stay here again, no hesitation. Our deluxe king room was big and clean. Summer at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast provided was good and a lot of variety. The lady there was friendly and made sure everyone had plenty of food. I liked the parking assistance for a starter. The people were friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice and clean and well scented. And the location is perfect if u woukd like to visit bourbon and other sites. I really loved my stay. The rooms were nice and clean and the workers and the front desk were very fast and helpful. The room was walking distance from the French Quarter which made it even better. Staff was very efficient. The staff were phenomenal! All of them went above and beyond by greeting us each time we left or returned and giving us tips on where to go and what to see. I was very impressed!. Everything was great until I check my debit card & it was charged twice I was very upset bc I had 2 end my trip bc it was goin 2 take 8 days 2 apply bac to my card. The staff were very helpful and nice. They helped us set up several tours. Location was excellent. Love free Wifi and breakfast. Love that you accept pets. The room was comfortable, not too small. The bath tubs need a bath mat or skid proof footing. Very slippery. I about fell a couple of times. the dining room was hot most mornings. It had a bit of a urine smell in our room, I wonder if this is because this hotel is dog friendly. I too, am a dog owner but did not have my dog with me. The shower pressure was not good and the water was not hot enough. Well since I enjoyed it so much there really isnt anything I disliked. But maybe breakfast could have a bigger selection. I enjoyed my stay. Took ten minutes for hot water to come up to shower (old water pipes in nola), and air conditioner wasn't working well. Not really negatives, just statement of facts of what I think could have been better. we learnt not to expect much of a "continental breakfast" in US, but it was really very basic, I still dont know, how to operate the shower. The shower took a very long time to get warm and never did get very hot. When I mentioned this on check out, the attendant was very surprised and apologetic. This would not stop me from staying there again, though. I was charged twice didn't no until I got ready 2 go shopping & my card was insufficient . I would like for them 2 give us a room for our inconvient . The parking was a bit confusing. Hard to find a working luggage cart on check out day and valets seemed a little stressed. But those are minor complaints. Pool not heated. breakfast selection, better have breakfast outside. Only thing was the inside of the tub had stains. The free wifi didn't work in my original room on the 6th floor. After a little bit of a wait, they did switch me to a room on the 2nd floor where it worked just fine. The room needs a mini-fridge and the hotel needs to offer drinks and snacks since there is no convenience stores close by. The tub in the bathroom was chipped in places. The beds were too soft. Noisey commode that kept us awake the second night of our stay, hold on my credit card for 2 weeks after my stay for valet parking :(. The coffee was bad!. The toilet ran and was not fixed or looke at while we were there even though we requested it. Insufficient breakfast. Baby's swimming pool. This is not a bad thing, but I noticed that the lobby lacked the charm of New Orleans. Breakfast was very weak. Needs to be beter or none at all. Some smaller bits were not quite clean e.g. ice bucket but the beds and the bathroom were fine. The rooms could do with a fridge and a safe. the way the breakfast was run.On Tuesday May 7 the people were rude and mad.Also on that day the desk people were not at there station and I could not get my credit card back. New Orleans was very expensive that week. Nothing, if I was being picky there was no lock on the door in room 303 but I would still give 99.9 out of 100. Few food options for dinner and lunch. Not many nearby restaurants. However the restaurant in the hotel across from La Quinta called "Dress It" was quite reasonable and very good. Breakfast, even it is included it is poor in food, and if you get late you are not having food, they dont add anything new 30 min before close. the breakfast , need to change from day to day. That the internet didn't work!!!!!!!. I was really disappointed that the pool was green!!! It would have been nice if the pool was open, considering it was the middle of July... I love to swim!. valet price. none. It could be a littttttle cheaper. Otherwise excellent. Room was not made up on first day. Had to call at 6pm when we returned to have it done. Next day we did not receive an ample supply of towels. This was my second visit in a month and a half to this hotel. Both times the rooms were almost unbearably warm with the thermostat set lowest possible. My visits were January and February. No meat on the breakfast bar.
