The Staff at this hotel were very accommodating. They were extremely pleasant & went above & beyond to make sure we had our needs met. Our room had a sofa bed but it didn't look very nice or supportive, so the guy (can't remember the name) came up & brought a rollaway bed b/c there weren't any other available rooms to move us to. I thought that was very accommodating. The place also included breakfast & 0n wkends that bfkt included bacon & eggs - Now thats a great deal!!! Th.
all reviews » The staff at Comfort Inn & Suites was incredible helpful, and the friendliest hotel staff I've experienced in any city in quite some time. We got help right away with options of parking, as well as suggestions for dinner. Great experience and value for the one night we stayed in NOLA-when we return I will definitely have Comfort Inn & Suites at the top of our list!. I like the fact that the staff was very friendly and could assist you with any questions you had such as parade times,street names and etc....I also like the fact that this hotel was within blocks to canal,bourbon and other famous streets in New Orleans so you could park and walk.It was a very nice hotel and the price was just right!!!!. My 7 friends and I stayed from Friday to Sunday. Everything was in walking distance great location. The staff was very friendly and helpful with us finding things to do. We liked it so much we booked again for the jazz festival. Prefect place to stay close to bourbon st canal and all the fun u can imagine. Staff always helpful, there was always someone at the front dest to answer questions, they were very considerate of me checking out a little late because of my marathon that weekend, I have stayed there before and will stay there again,. I appreciate the service and attention from the general manager. My son was suffering from a migraine that came on suddenly. He allow us to check in a bit early so that he could recover. His staff was very helpful and polite. Staff/front desk was very welcoming, friendly and helpful!! Close walking distance to the French Quarter/Bourbon Street but in a more quiet location. Great restaurants right across the street. I loved everything. The location, the size of the room, the staff , all were well worth the money. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to be able to walk to all downtown attractions. The staff were very nice, especially the day manager. The rooms were very clean and room. The beds were extremely comfortable and the extra pillows were such a nice touch. the host was the best thing about the hotel ... she was very friendly and helpful with us... she made our day..plus the breakfast was really good hats off to the cooks :). Room was a little on the warm side, even with air conditioning unit turned up high. I don't have anything negative to say about this hotel. price could have been better. The mattresses need updating. My husband and I kept "falling" into the middle. Brought back memories of my childhood!. The room was dark. Only a few lights, and with dark carpets and dark curtains, and a very basic bathroom, it felt a bid sad. No free parking. Nothing. Shower in room was cold Room had no place to sit. Valet parking. The shower leaked/dripped all night and could be heard in the room. The eating area for breakfast is too small. It was standing room early at 9:30. Valet parking took way too long to get vehicle on departure. We do not aware the security box need to pay till we check out. Parking...expensive and too far away from hotel. Valet took my car to the wrong hotel. Waited 45 minutes for it until I finally asked. That's when they realized the mistake. The same beds. They looked like full size bed, but they were comfortable though. Bathtub was a whirlpool tub and had very tall sides so it was tough to get in and out of. no safe in the 1st room, moved to a 2nd room where the shower did not work then moved to a 3rd room where the wi-fi was very very slow (almost unusable) in the 3rd room. Elevators were old!. Small elevators. No on-site parking. Late nite noise / cars/ bar crowd across the street. Beds were hard. Parking. 1st room had A/C cover on bed, but room was cold Microwave didn't work, but they brought us another one. Parking. Ok they say free breakfast but that watch you like a hawk. I guest he was the manager he walk around in the eating area to see what u had got. He make you feel not weclome. They had ants in there juice machine. Parking is to far off should be right at the hotel.The area where you park was to close together. The first was the elevator which looked as though it had not been cleaned in several days and the carpeting really needed replacement. The bathroom's baseboards had pulled away from the wall and in a few places it had been stapled to a stucco walll---which doesn't work. It looked rather dirty and uncared for. Not very pleasant. Noise, charge for the safe regardless if you use it or not. The key stops working after 2 days, so you have to ask for the renewal of its validity. The room very dark, strange smell. Price. Many others at convention felt same way. Uped the price for Superbowl and didn't come down after. Recommendation to HIMSS convention sponsor that they not return to New Orleans.
